Concerns of Canada’s Manufacturing Sector – Steel Tariffs

Dear participating companies to our program,

While tariffs and counter-tariffs affecting softwood lumber are frequently — and rightly — discussed, many companies participating in our program are more directly impacted by measures affecting steel. For this reason, I just asked Minister Joly to ensure that our interests are represented, in coordination with her colleagues responsible for Finance and negotiations with the United States.
