Well Made Here Reaches Out to the Prime Minister

On the morning of September 17, on behalf of the partners and manufacturers taking part in the Well Made Here (WMH) program, Richard Darveau wrote to Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The letter was copied to Ministers Mélanie Joly (Industry, and Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions), Joël Lightbound (Government Transformation, Public Works and Procurement, and Quebec Lieutenant), François-Philippe Champagne (Finance and National Revenue) and Gregor Robertson (Housing and Infrastructure).

Below is the full letter. In it, WMH’s President and CEO asks that the program help strengthen, in the hardware and building materials sector, the government’s priority measures to buy Canadian.
